Izzi is a Mexican telecommunications company that belongs to the Televisa Group and offers telephone, cable television and Internet services to the public. If you have a residential internet plan, then you probably have one of their modem models to manage your internet via WiFi.<\/p>\n

You can configure your Izzi modem very easily, in this article we will explain the easiest way to enter the modem settings and quickly set up a secure password to connect to WiFi.<\/p>\n

Login into the Izzi Modem<\/h2>\n

To make any adjustments to your Izzi modem you need to access the configuration panel. There are two ways to do this, through the official app and through the modem itself.<\/p>\n

Login Izzi Panel<\/a><\/p>\n

You have to install the official Izzi app<\/a> on your mobile device, then enter your username and password, if you have not yet created an account, you can access the ‘Create your Izzi account’ button.<\/p>\n

Once you access your user panel, you can enter the ‘My WiFi’ option, from there, you can configure several aspects such as changing the SSID and the WiFi key. You can also access more advanced settings such as network type and network sharing options.<\/p>\n

Through the modem<\/h3>\n

The second way to log into the Izzi modem is to connect your PC or laptop via the network cable to the modem. When you are connected, then you will need to open a tab in your web browser and type the following IP address in the address bar: ‘192.168.0.1<\/a>‘, then press the ‘Enter’ key.<\/p>\n

Depending on the exact model of your modem, the IP address you must type in your browser will change, for example, for the Technicolor TC83005C model the IP address is: ‘10.0.0.1’, for the ONT modem the IP address is: ‘192.168.1.1’ and for the Izzi TG2482 model the IP address is: ‘192.168.1.1’ and for the Izzi TG2482 model the IP address is: ‘192.168.1.1’. 192.168.100.1<\/a><\/p>\n

When you have typed the correct IP and pressed the ‘Enter’ key, the login page for your modem will open, you will have to type the default username and password. On most models of Izzi modems the User Name is: ‘admin<\/strong>‘ and the Password is: ‘password<\/strong>‘ (both the user and password are written in lower case). Then press the ‘Enter’ button or click the ‘Apply’ button, you should be able to enter the internal configuration options of the Izzi modem.<\/p>\n

Change Izzi Wifi password<\/h2>\n

If you want to change the password that your WiFi network has configured in your Izzi modem, you also have two options to do so, through the Izzi app and through the modem.<\/p>\n

Change Izzi modem password via the app<\/h3>\n

  1. Open your Izzi app on your mobile device and enter your username and password.\"change<\/li>\n
  2. Select the ‘My WiFi’ option.<\/li>\n
  3. The ‘Manage My WiFi’ option will open, below you will see the name of the network and the currently configured password.<\/li>\n
  4. To change the name of your WiFi network you will have to select the ‘My Network’ option, you will see a text box where you can delete the current name and type the new name you want for your network.<\/li>\n
  5. Select ‘OK’ and confirm the name change you want to make.<\/li>\n
  6. If you want to change the password, you will have to select the ‘My Password’ option, you will also see a text box where you can delete the current password and type the new password you want to set.<\/li>\n
  7. Press the ‘Accept’ button and confirm the password change you want to make.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you followed the steps correctly, then you will be able to scan your WiFi networks again and you will see the network with the new name you just configured and you will be able to connect with the new network key.<\/p>\n

    Change Izzi modem password through the modem<\/h3>\n

    To change the password of your Izzi modem through the modem you must contact through the network cable as explained in the previous point ‘Login inside the Izzi Modem \/ Through the modem’.<\/p>\n

    Enter your modem’s password and when you are inside the configuration page, select the ‘Wireless’ option.<\/p>\n

    Look for the Wireless Network Name (SSID) section<\/strong> and there you will see the name your network currently has. There you can retype the new name you want to configure and select the ‘Apply’ button to save the changes.<\/p>\n

    Now in the ‘Pre-Shared Key’ section you can view the current password of your Izzi modem. You can also change it to a new one and select the ‘Apply’ button. Once this configuration is done, you will be able to connect again to your Izzi modem with the new password you have just configured.<\/p>\n
